4 Things You Like About Facebook

Over the last several weeks I have really been focusing on what gets Facebook to work for me and sharing that with others.  I have also watched closely at what others have been doing on Facebook so I can take that knowledge and share it with others.  With over 500 million people using Facebook there is great potential there. I thought I would share this note to see what YOU LIKE ABOUT FACEBOOK?

Here are my top 4 things I like about Facebook:

1. I like being able to see what my family and friends are up to!

2. I like meeting new people that share common interests!

3. I like watching inspiring videos and reading inspiring quotes from others.

4. I like that its FREE and really easy to use for business!

I also like keeping up with many friends in such an easy format.  You can see their pics and how they are doing even though many times you have not spoke for a while.

Good morning Chuck, I like the fact that there's one virtual meeting ground where all my friends and family gather and it encourages my kids to get to know relatives overseas that they haven't met in person yet.

I like that it has 500 million users and predicting 1 billion by the close of 2011!

I like the that i can directly feed my outside blog into the Notes application to appear on my profile and newsfeed!

I like that I can network with fellow professionals!

I like seeing the increasingly weird statuses that people share with the world that leave me shaking my head!

I  like that it's interactive.... not just a meeting ground for friends but a communication hub. I can message, wall, private chat, group chat all in one forumn.

I like that I can 'friend' and communicate with my awesome friends and family as well as distant aquaintenances with the feel of a 'neighborhood'

I like that I have a way and right to advertise (for free) with it being a choice for my friends and family to participate.

And, I like that I can keep up with my local competition! It's a great place to grab ideas and keep on top of the community.

Chuck, all the comments are interesting here.  Maybe I'm being "old fashioned" with regards to FaceBook, but I do agree with Lori, I like blogging more.  And, every time I have tried to sneak onto Facebook for a few minutes - it ended up being way longer.  (I can say the same for blogging also.)  But, you do have me thinking.  Thanks.
