An article this morning in our local Lansdale paper tells the story of a councilman back to work after a bout with Stage 3 melanoma.  His words of wisdom, "If anyone has anything that seems abnormal - it doesn't have to be on your skin, maybe it's in the way you feel or your breathing or whatever - please go and get it checked out early.  There is a cure for cancer, and it is early detection and treatment." 

Why do I mention that in a real estate blog?  It seems lately, getting a transaction to the settlement table takes so much work and an inordinate amount of jumping through hoops, that we realtors may not be taking as good care of ourselves.  We may be focusing too much on our business, our clients, setting the wheels in motion to have a fruitful 2011.  Don't be stupid. Don't forget about your health and taking good care of YOU.

trust me, most of the agents that i encounter in my area are not overly focused on their clients or the deal unfortunately!  me on the other hand.......
