I was over reading  BloodHound Blog and The Phoenix Real Estate Guy.

Today's talk is sad. A blogger on Bloodhound, Lani Anglin, lost her brother in a car accident. He was 24 and left behind his young wife, Aleisha and two little girls.

Aaron is the actor aka Realtor in this video. Find out the background behind the video ...........and Lani's message about her brother and the accident which claimed his life.

Both Greg Swann and Jay Thompson helped me in my efforts to notify the Arizona blogging and Realtor community of Karen George's need. I now have the chance to help them help someone else.

Life is all about the ability to step outside our needs and help others when we get the chance. Click the ribbon or go to Jay's site to find out how you can help.

oh Paula, I'm dumbstruck.  I posted this video today on our company blog and we've been laughing at the spoof all day.  How tragic.  Life hangs by the thinnest strand at all times.  How terribly, terribly sad.....

Paula, that is so young.   It makes me think of that verse in the bible that our life is but a mist.  I just looked it up to make sure I had it right Jame 4:14 You are a mist that appears for a little while then vanishes.  We just don't know what tomorrow will bring do we?

It reminds us to stay close to family and friends and let them know how important they are in our lives.  We often forget to let those close to use know how much we appreciate them.

Thanks for posting this Paula. I hate to keep asking people for money. But Aaron left behind two little girls, ages six weeks and one year. My heart aches for all of them.  Every dollar can make a difference.

Congratulations Paula and thanks for the tip on the sites and sorry to hear about the tragedy. As our number increase exponentially we are fast becoming a tight knot group of caring and committed individuals that will one day make a great difference, even more than now. Thanks for your commitment to excellence and of course your friendship.

Paula, This is very shocking and shows how life can change in an instant. I saw his video the other day and thought it was funny.....now , after reading your news, I'm just very saddened.   You do so much for others, Paula, you truly have a heart of gold.

Maggie: I know you know and understand life holds no guarantees. You can also relate to the challenges and sadness this Mom must face as she raises her two daughters alone. Thank you for taking a moment to stop here and comment.

I came back here and reviewed some of the comments - unfortunately - I had to delete a couple. There were a few which looked at the video and commented about how great it was. It is a great video, but it was apparent these people did not read the article. How can someone who read this say, Great Video - it rocks? and not acknowledge the tragedy I speak of?

Paula, thank you so much- I sincerely appreciate it.  The family is dong well- the girls are all coming to my house for the Texas vs. OU football game that my brother had invited himself to last week. :)  God has blessed us with these three girls that will need everyone's help for years to come.  I greatly thank you, Paula.

Lani - Thank you for stopping by to let us know the girls and family are doing well. This is a such a loss for each of you and my heart aches for your family. I have five siblings and can not imagine the pain you endure. God has blessed you with an extension of Aaron through his wife and children. I pray you find strength through them. It is apparent they have many who care for them; I am sure they feel loved and blessed to have you. God Bless you and your family, Lani. Go Texas! :)

Paula,

Thank you for your ribbon posting and support.

Few in your blog-community had never met Aaron, but as far as my kids go, Aaron and Lani were cut out of the very same cloth. They share a unique sense of humor, and real-world-intelligence, and were extremely close all through their lives. If you asked them the same question, the answer would often be the same. So to know Lani is to (almost) know Aaron. Lani is just a little faster with a verbal b-slap than her brother was.

Again, my deepest appreciation, and the next time you chat with Lani, that her dad said "Strawberries in yo face". You'll get a heart-wrenching story from her, but it will just be rather one-sided.

Sincerely,

Ben Anglin

Ben -

Thank you for sharing your son here. Through the posts about Aaron and the posts I read of Lani's, I do feel I know each of them, as many do, I'm sure. One of the great benefits of blogging!

Funny, I have never even spoken to Lani - but will be prepared for the b-slap if ever I have the opportunity:) Two of my daughters are very much like that, it is rather hard to beat them to the punch, they are very quick. I'll remember the strawberries, if I get the chance to meet or speak with Lani.

My sincerest condolences to you and your family - As I told Lani, I have five siblings and can not imagine the pain. As a parent, your pain is incomprehensible to me. I wish you and your family God's peace and love to sustain you.

Blessings,

Paula
