For my Wordy Wednesday picture today I submit this shot of my sister in law's doggy Daisy....
This is pretty much how I looked all week having come down with the dreaded flu.....
Uggh....
On the mends now thankfully but next year I don't think I'll be passing up the flu shot again...
I've learned my lesson......
Keeping comfy and warm now just like Daisy here..........
I'm just recovering from the flu as well, it was a rough one. I guess my annual flu shot was a bust this year.
Daisy is living the complete "Dog's Life." Don't we all wish life could be that simple! I'm glad you are on the mend from the flu. Those I know who have had it this season, say it is a rough one!
Daisy has the right idea - I'm ready for nap time too. Daisy have some Australian Shepard in her?

Daisy is a smart girl .. she knows that naps are good for her! The flu is no fun ... today I felt a cold coming on -- so I think I'll take a nap right now!

I had a few days this past winter when I wanted to do that as well. They usually came about the same time the snow did. Glad you're feeling better
Michael - I guess I'm like you too. I never get it and have only gotten this flu a few times in my adult life so I guess I've been luck so far... not so this year though...
Chris - Yes I'm sure she was quite comfy.. just look at her contented face ....looks like she's smiling... me? not so much...
Diane - Working on it... It is taking a long time to leave me on this visit that never ends... like a bad house guest that doesn't know when to leave...
Greg - I have never gotten a shot and have procrastinated I think for the last time this year...
Myrl - thanks and yes it's been taking an inordinate amount of time to get out of here... but slowly but surely I'm hoping to be back to normal by next week or sooner....
Mel & Gretchen - not sure about breed of Daisy... but she's sure comfortable looking right?
Maureen - Sleep is usually the only way I manage to get rid of these annoying bugs.... Take a nap starve a bug... That's what I say... Go for it
Rob - I am probably going to get one next year after having had this bout this year... I have debated it too long... time to give in and hope for the best... for now it's bed rest.... Thanks

Tessa says she like to do this as well. But, it's hard to get her out of new round bed from Costco these days.
