Interesting.  The harder I work, the luckier I get.

Larry lets things go longer than I do, that is for sure! I immediately googled the phone number and saw the scam alerts. Larry talked with them 843 times longer than I ever would have.

Oh, when Larry looked up their website, it was not as nice as what it should be and-here is the kicker-if you search for them, THEY don't come up on the first page. Really?

Hmmmmmmm, nope, not getting any money from us!

It would have been better to get off the phone and blog something!

Hi Lauren - you make serveral good points here.  I have always felt that one of the big attractions to being a Realtor is that we can, if we choose, go out after any business we want.  A friend of mine once taught me not to assume anything and he meant not to assume you cannot get that big listing or big client.  We need to make the effort........go knocking if you will.......and many times we will find success.  Knock and the door shall open.  Thank you for these very postitive thoughts.

Lauren - thanks for the reminder that hard always work pays off. Sometimes when things don't go my way, I can get unmotivated and that's when I need to work even harder. Trust me when I tell you staging is a new concept in my area and part of my "job" is to find venues to educate consumers on this concept - not something I've been doing enough of. I'm suggesting because we all need a little kick in the but and you just gave me one - so thank you!

Built a plan around your daily and weekly activity, as Zig Ziglar says in his Goals CD "Write down the 8 most important things to do in your day the night before in order of importance, then anything that was not done that day add it to the next day's things to do in order of importance"

When I first started an experienced Realtors said "Fred if you drive by a house that has lots of curb appear, knock on their door and tell them how much you admire their home and when they decide to sell you can Sell It"

Not yet Lauren, it looks like a neat one though. I do know that I am the Giraffe and Larry is the Crocodile though. Makes a LOT of sense because I explain it that he is 'black and white' and I am 'color.'

Our methods and mannerisms are so different even though we get to the same conclusion 98 percent of the time. Taking the quiz together was fun-holding each other to task while taking the quiz was hilarious.
