Sales of single family existing homes in Maine increased in January. Total sales this January were 536 homes compared with 484 for the same period one year earlier.
The median sales price for both periods was unchanged, at $160,000, showing stability of sales price.
For York County Homes for sale in particular, rolling quartery statistics were also released, comparing the 3 months of Nov-Jan of 2009/2010 with the same 3 months 2010/2011. Those numbers showed York County Home Sales went from 423 to 353, but the median sales price of those homes rose from $199,500 to $215,000.
