I hate old clunkers. I feel like I haven't moved on. Get an Apple. No virus problems.

Carla - I'm with Chris Ann; I like my big keyboard and a real mouse.  I have a laptop, but my wife adopted it after I abandoned it a couple of years ago. 

Sort of like finding old college papers in an old box. It's seems so ancient.

Carla, You cats are so adorable...I'm sorry you have since lost them both :(  I am fostering 3 TINY little kittens right now if you'd like one :)  We call them the sandwich triplets, PB&J, ha!  They weigh 1 lb. each.

Love the photo of you that was discovered, lol.  I love digging through my old computer at times...it's like a treasure chest!

Clunkers....We have a laptop that has already reached that state. I'm going on 4PLUS years on my Gateway, but I'm thinking this could be the year for an upgrade.

I'm not so inclined to do the Mac thing...my learning curve patience would most likely cause a divorce or some such event!

It probably took longer to post on the old computer. I've noticed that those kind of transitions are rocky.

Carla, I hadn't realized just how OLD our laptop was until yesterday.  We just traded in Liz's Dell Inspiron 5100 for a Dell Vostro 3700 yesterday...now just working on getting the new one totally up to speed.  But the 5100, purchased October 2003!  I was amazed last night just how much faster the new one was!

At least you had a backup computer, however clunky it might be.  I hope that your laptop is back soon!

My laptop is huge compared to others now.

Carla - Something must be going around because I was on my clunker too last week.  It was so difficult to work for those three hours a computer I never ever ever ever use while my IT girl was fixing my laptop.  I feel like I need to get a back up laptop.

I switch back and forth between 3 computers and sometimes on Don's making 4.  I've learned to put some things on the network so I can get them from any of the 'puters that I happen to be using.

There is a 5th 'puter here though that would definitely be like your clunker.  Gave it up about 5 years ago, the grandchildren use it when they are here..  It is slow and cumbersome.. :)

I just wanted to say that I love the green--I remember thinking the very first time I saw it, "WOW, I love that--I never would have picked those colors but, they look great!"  I'm always going for the basics and I love that you were daring and went bold--and, Ralph is right--looks great with your hair!

Girl.... where have you been?  I would have commented on the burger post again to ask.... but I might have had to eat a burger again.  Hope all is well with you and you get your lap top back soon.  I miss your posts.
