Thanks To ActiveRain Members AL & Peggy Cunningham And John Novak

I want to give a "Thank You" shout to ActiveRain Members AL & Peggy Cunningham And John Novak.  I was having problems downloading a file for an ActiveRain contest...nothing I tried worked.  So after much frustration and time spent...wasted...trying to get at what I needed I gave up and left a comment on the contest post that I wished that I could enter the contest, but unfortunately I would not be able to join in on the fun.  A bit disappointed I carried on with business.

Well what a surprise...this morning at about 20 minutes to 9:00 I got a call from my two Canadian friends Al & Peggy Cunningham while I was on the way to a home inspection.  They read my comment, sensed my disappointment and called to help.  I was taken by surprise...the call was so unexpected, but it was a great conversation and I really enjoyed talking to them.  They sent me a link they used and offered suggestions hoping it would help.  I wish I could say that it did, but again I ended up with the same problems.

I resigned myself to the fact that I wasn't getting into the contest...again disappointed I carried on with business.  And again later in the day I received an email from another ActiveRain member, John Novak from out Las Vegas way.  GET THIS...John sent me the entire two chapters!!  He took time out of his busy day to help out another ActiveRain member...I couldn't believe it...well actually I could...that seems to be what ActiveRain is all about...members helping members.  This little story has another little twist that I hope to incorporate into the contest entry...I just gotta get started now because the deadline is tomorrow.  

Thank you Al & Peggy and John...you made my day!
