Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX

Paint the face season! Nachos and cold beer! It’s the Superbowl! In the middle of yelling at referees and cheering d-fense, there might be a great real estate lesson for us to learn from the Superbowl.

Everyone gets thrilled about Superbowl though they do not care about football. Most people don’t watch the whole season of the game however everyone concentrates on the Superbowl. It is the same pattern in real estate.

Thousands of Realtors that begin the year like all of the NFL teams with hopes of having a great year, although the fact is only a hand full will do everything it takes to make it to the Superbowl. People direct their mind on the pay check and the clients that are ready to transact however very few realtors focus on the games or significant wins along the way that create the Superbowl possible. To make it simple, many realtors want a pay check and the sale but few have really a schedule and plan for success to obtain to cashing those pay checks. Not having a consistent wins in regular season when no one cares, you will never bring in to the Superbowl which for us is pay check.

You just don’t get to the Superbowl and don’t just obtain sales and listings. The real game of real estate is played daily in your everyday habits and few wins along the way. Have a game plan; create a schedule for your business. Rehearse scripts and presentations and track your record of how many new clients you win. Every lead is the same as play. Each prospect is getting to seek to stop you and just because you win a play does not indicate you move forward to a score with the client. It take one good play after another to go forward the lead.

Recognize how much it took for each team to acquire the Superbowl and the year of hard work they place in and nurse your business the same way. Create a plan, fight every inch in your venture and you will gain clients and those will increase up to sales. Enough sales are equal to winning a game. Go out and make your business more foreseeable this year by making a plan, rehearsing and moving forward inch by inch with one supreme goal in mind... to win the Superbowl.

Keep in mind, Work Hard and Live Well!
