Today marks our 17th year Anniversary! It's hard to believe in 1994 we exchanged vows at the Renaissance Hotel in front of our families and closest friends. How does the time escape us so quickly? We spent 2 weeks in Hawaii and have taken so many wonderful trips since then exploring parts of the world.
For many years we always took a trip on our Anniversary and would bring our cards for each other and write a new message. Our cards are full (17 years worth), but it is so fun to read all the old messages and the new one for the year! This year we took a trip early (January) so we'll be here as we write a new message.
We started this tradition because we both felt we found the perfect card for each other on our first Anniversary and decided it would be meaningful for us.
Of all the things I value in our marriage,
The most important one
Is how we blend
The perfect parts
Of friendship and love.
I'm so glad
I'm married to my closest friend.
