Pinehurst Area Information - The beginning signs of spring are here. The daffodils are sprouting out of the ground and the cherry trees are starting to bloom.

Spring in PinehurstEven thought the Pinehurst winters are short - it is nice to see the signs of spring. I noticed the daffodils last week and today showing this house was the first of the cherry blossoms I have seen season.

My favorite will be when the dogwoods are in full bloom. Then you can be sure winter is finally over and the spring/summer season is in full swing.

We're getting close too.  My Daffodils are about 2-3 inches high today.  No tree buds yes.  Maybe next wek.

Dawn, I love those Daffodils, it's too warm for them here in Florida, although I'm beginning to think that could change if we keep having winters like this.  It sure is wonderful to see nature come back to life!

Hi Lenn. I should have my first full flower tomorrow. I will try and share!

Silvia, I use to live in CA and we didn't see may daffodils there either. I'm so glad the weather is turning.
