NV, Las Vegas: Market Update

According to the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS® there are 41,916 Listings:

Single Family Homes (houses, condos, townhouses, manufactured homes) - 31,408 Listings
Multiple Dwelling Homes (4-plexes, duplex, triplex, house plus unit(s)) - 430 Listings
Vacant and Subdivided Land - 3,696 Listings
Commercial/Industrial - 2 Listings
Office/Individual/Retail Lease - 0 Listings
Business Opportunity - 0 Listings
Residential Rental - 4,514 Listings

For Sale By Owner are not included in this list. Some but not all new homes are included. Foreclosures Short Sales Bank-owned may or may not be included in this list. These figures are per the GLVAR MLS and are deemed correct but not guaranteed.

Sounds like a rough market! I am glad we sold 3 years ago and came back to Seattle. How are those numbers versus a couple of years ago?

Jason...at the height of our seller's market, about 3 years ago, active listings on market were about 1,200! Quite a difference from today! The norm has been about 24,000...but we have grown a lot too, so we must take that into account.

Thanks for always keeping us informed.I like to keep current on Vegas. I remember when the market started to boom and growth was crazy. I also remember my first trip to Vegas. Not much but desert. Boy has that changed.
