Grover in Snow

Grover asked me to write this post.  He is sick and tired of whiny REALTORS always complaining about having to go out in the snow to show homes.  Grover wants anyone who feels they have it tough to stop and think about it.  He suggests that you imagine your legs are only about eight inches long, there is about eight inches of snow and you have to relieve yourself.  Now that is something to complain about!

I see I am not the only one that shovels the back yard!  My "kids" (2 adorable bischons) and I have taken to making a snow maze. Infact the maze is done after 7 inches of snowfall today but the drive is still under a blanket of snow.

Hi Pat - Poor Grover!  My poor English bulldog used to complain about the snow when we lived in Buffalo.  So we moved her to Fort Lauderdale.  She thought better of us after that!

Pat, you STILL have snow?     Has it ever melted since the early winter?     We have bits of snow in the northern sections where the sun has not been seen, but almost completely gone!    Poor Grover will such short legs, but so cute!

Hi Pat, made me smile seeing "yellow snow"! I feel for Grover with those short legs...

Hopefully you'll get an early spring and he'll be able to run like the wind!

Thanks, Grover - I appreciate the reminder not to complain about the snow.  Oh, wait - that's right, I live in Scottsdale, AZ - no snow here!!!!  I guess I can't complain about the, um, er........

Heck, stop by in July and hear me grumble about showing homes in 110 degree weather, LOL.

Pat~ Poor Grover! I'll bet he's looking forward to spring.  We had a Rottweiler who used to "tip toe" throw the snow.  She wasn't very happy either.

Go Grover! (pun intended) ... Shadow just wrote a post on my blog about Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day. Our dogs can teach us so much about what's really important!

Pat,

Not living in the snow I forget there are not only people challenges.... there are animal challenges too, for our pets.  Grover is adorable!!!

Vickie---I think your dog and Grover must be cousins!

Gerard--Ya got that right!

Phil--Grover is my sun lover.  Hates the snow.

Connie---:-)   You noticed!  Yes, I have three pugs and a chihuahua---shoveling necessary!

Kristine--Pugs are clowns!

Chris--But now you are in Connecticut!!!!

Joan--This was all new, fresh snow---the good news is it is almost gone again!

Pamela--Grover loves to sit up against the fence in the sun---only a few months to go!

Juli--Glad you decided to present both sides! :-)  I do hate extreme hot as much as snow and ice for showing.

Michael--Grover is a good boy.

Debra--You truly get it!!

Kim--I didn't know Rottweillers tiptoes anywhere!

John--Sometimes I know my dogs are smarter than I am!

Rene--Grover was not really worried about his toes. :-)

Linda--I worry more about my dogs than I do about my own weather hassles!

I bookmarked this post to come back to again. We just don't get snow here and I miss it, just a little bit! We go to the mountains to see the kids every Christmas and get our 3 days of snow.

Howdy and evening to you Pat and Grover

Grover,
you sure right that you actually have it a lot tougher than folks do, when it comes to being out in the snow. We need to have a fundraiser event to get you a puppy dog outhouse to help make it easier on you.

Have a good one

A male dog walking through the snow with short legs can make one lose sensation in certain appendages. Perhaps 'yellowing' the snow brought some feeling and warmth back to said appendages.

Vickie--I am not sure I would have written that comment for all to read.  There are those who will wonder if you have a screw loose somewhere!!

Dale--You could make a fortune with a doggy outhouse!!  I can picture you now on QVC or HSN!

Denise--I have a chihuahua too and when it gets really cold it can actually be scary to let her out!

Ted--I am sure you are correct!  I never thought about it that way!!
