Ok, contrary to popular belief, Austin's market is still going strong.  Granted we are no longer in a hyper market, but our growth is steady due to great employment oppurtunities amongst other things.  We are still going strong, along with other places like Charlotte, N.C.  Now, we have seen a slow down, possibly due to financing conditions and other influences like Californians not being able to sell their homes, but overall the picture is good.

On a side note, I was out of state last week, and was able to see what a gorgeous city we live in compared to some, I finally saw in Austin what the out of staters see in Austin.  What a great place to call home!  So come on folks, the sky is not falling!  I repeat, the sky is not falling! Repeat it with me, the sky is not falling!

Dont let the media know about your market, they wont be able to write doom and gloom articles

The only drama facing our two cities is the negative perception of the 'national real estate market' which does not exist.  let the media go worry about Amadaabiobogaosidgnaoingnaonolalalal and leave real estate alone.

Hey Cyndy

I agree, Austin is an amazing place to live!  And I'm reminded of that every week as my plane touches down from wherever I've been speaking/training.  We're on session 5 this Friday...stop by and say hello upstairs okay?
