Electronics Recycling – Sunday February 27th, 2011 at Epstein School from 10-3
While out showing homes today in the Riverside area in Sandy Springs, GA we came across a solution we’ve been looking for with respect to disposing of old electronics we are no longer using, but don’t want to just throw out.
The Riverside Homeowners Association shares that Epstein’s Middle School Students in conjunction with Telecycling is having an Electronics Recycling Day on Sunday February 27th, 2011. Times are from 10-3. This is part of the Student Council's "Green Planet Project" to collect and properly recycle electronic equipment and keep it out of our landfills.
Items welcomed are:
· Cell Phones (All types, we will take it in pieces)
· Batteries (AAA, AA, C, D, watch, button, hearing aid, cell phone, computer, camera…etc. or any vehicle or power machine battery)
· Computers (All types, any shape, we will take it in pieces)
· DVD players, Stereos, Speakers, VCR Players, Game Systems
· Cables, Chargers
· Microwaves, Toasters, Refrigerators…any home appliances
· Any metals, Cars, Motorcycles, Bikes
· Any electronic items not listed here that has a circuit board
For any additional questions you might have contact Telecycling’s Alex Razmazin at 404-812-1739 or alex@telecycling.net
What are you doing tomorrow? I’ll be over at Epstein dropping off some electronics I would rather have recycled than end up in a landfill.
