Orangecrest Riverside, CA 92508 - a neighborhood of orange groves, citrus trees and families.  Adjacent to Woodcrest and Mission Grove, this master-planned community was first annexed in 1986 however the major growth of new home construction exploded during the early 2000's. Subdivisions populated the land as New home builders created similar tracts along with maintaining areas of designated green space.  The Orangecrest community consists of approximately 5000 homes, shopping centers and local restaurants.

Orangecrest was formerly the site of orange groves, orchards and fruit stands. If you're fortunate on a spring day it is still possible to capture a slight whiff of the sweet smelling orange blossoms.  Gless Ranch, a local landmark and a family owned orchard since 1907, still continues to grow and sell the famed California Orange. The wholesome family atmosphere is showcased at our local park - Orangecrest Terrace which is host to the very active Orangecrest Little League. The Opening Day celebration occurs on March 12.  Expect a carnival like atmosphere which fills the air as parents, siblings, friends and relatives join together to cheer on their teams. The Orange Terrace Community Center and Library are housed on the sprawling green area with a soaring mountain backdrop.

Several new schools were built to address the needs of this growing community. New elementary, middle and a High School provide a public education for students of all ages. Several have received the Distinguished School Award. Martin Luther King Jr High, Mark Twain, Kennedy and Rivera Elementary Schools have all been recognized by the State of California for their successful programs and practices.
