- no appraisal necessary
- no income verification
- must be on time with your mortgage payment for 12 months
- 640 credit score required
- Investment properties & multi-families
- very little paper work (Streamline)
- takes less than a month from start to finish
- rates are still under 5%
Thats not entirely accurate is it?
The 203k will cost more but its an insured loan to lenders and is also an assumable loan.
If the home needs work its almost always the best choice.
Did I miss your message somehow?
FHA Strealine Refinance loans will not have the same benefit. The post didn't say anything about 203k Streamline loans. The 203k Streamline is great unless it's a second home or investment property then there are some other products that the homebuyer can use.
Good information for those who can benefit from the FHA Streamline Refinance.
.25 BPS on the 15 Year <90% LTV is insane...this isn't going to be the last hit this year IMHO and FHA has got to be in serious trouble...would LOVE to see USDA come in and expand their eligibility areas and give a shot of adrenaline here!
The news gets worse as time passes and not being an insider I can't understand why there couldn't be another way to secure the loans.
Stronger acceptance levels maybe.
