Did you know Olinda is famous for being the location of the Jimi Hendrix Rainbow Bridge concert and film?  On July 30, 1970 Hendrix performed a free concert in a cow pasture above Seabury Hall, for a few hundred spectators.  Less than 2 months later he died in London England.  If he had been sensible and settled down on Maui, we might still be enjoying his performances today!
