Keep Your California Home

http://www.missionvalleycondos.infoThere are four new mortgage-aid programs available through the Keep Your California Home program that housing officials say could help as many as 100,000 households avoid foreclosure:

  1. Up to $3,000 a month for unemployed homeowners.
  2. Up to $15,000 per household for those who are behind on payments due to a change in housing circumstances.
  3. Relocation assistance for those who have completed a short sale or a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure transaction.
  4. Financial help to cut the outstanding principal balances of homeowners who are in a negative equity situation and struggling to make ends meet.

http://www.missionvalleycondos.infoEach program requires that the company servicing the mortgage be a participant. Currently, GMAC, Guild Mortgage, the California Housing Finance Agency, and the California Department of Veterans Affairs are participating in all four programs.

Others participating in some of the programs include Bank of America, CitiMortgage, JPMorgan Chase, and Wells Fargo.

Programs are only available to Californians who own and occupy their homes as their primary residence. For more information, call 888-954-5337 or visit KeepYourCaliforniaHome.org.
