The House Labor and Industry Committee met today to consider two pieces of legislation. HB 439 was reported as committed with a request to re-refer the bill to the House State Government Committee. HB 377, which amends the Pennsylvania Construction Code to, among other things, removes the requirement new houses must be built with a sprinkler system, was reported as amended.

So The House Labor and Industry Committee votes to remove sprinkler mandate. Next it moves on to the full House for consideration!
