..............................................................................................................................................................

This is the event my broker and I were invited to go to today. From what I could tell most everybody with in the sound of my voice was invited and showed up for this event. The speaker and Realtor.com were no doubt happy with the turn out. But to tell the truth the event was over booked, hot, crowded, poorly organized and poorly staffed. It's too bad, Realtor.com couldn't get it put together a bit better. This event probably chased away more people than got their attention. My broker and I each drove, Donna from Pueblo and me from the Canon City area just for this event - I hate to say I wasted the gas but there was little or no upside to this morning. I was looking for a little inspiration or a kick in the behind.

The speaker did a nice job, but what's the point if you can't get your questions answered? Are given poor or misleading information? And all you want to do is escape the chaos that is? At the break that is what my broker and I did - escape.

So sorry to hear you were disappointed.  I really hate when the marketing and reality don't match.  But somehow that seems to happen frequently. :(

HA! I knew you were stalking around the rain. Hi ya Kristal! I saw Todd Carpenter there, he remembered me and I him. Sounds like maybe he has some things in the works. I don't think he was any more impressed than I was today.

Dena, it is to bad because if they accomplished just half of what they advertised it would have been a good event.  Hopefully there is a way to get feedback to them and maybe they will take the advice.

Dena, I'm sorry it wasn't a productive use of your time. I've been getting the invites for the one in Ft. Collins and have been feeling badly that I couldn't attend. I guess I wont' feel so badly now!

It is to bad, Donna and I were both disappointed. Realtor.com has some cool things that most Realtors don't take advantage of, I may never know about them know.

I hate when this happens.  At least you didn't have to pay for it!  that would be more insult to injury!

Dena, I went to the same event on Wednesday in Vail. It was entirely the opposite experience for me. The room was half full, so we had some good interaction. The speaker was informative, and the staff was helpful in answering questions. I'm sorry to hear that the Springs event was poorly managed.
