Fullerton real estate, as well as other Orange County cities, has a MIA issue with move up buyers. Where are they? Gone, or just on the sidelines? No one knows for sure but we suspect that they are all on "hold". It is very likely that they are waiting for the world and US economies to calm down, even to start a sustained slow growth. We suspect that the concern over job security, stock market valuations, and sliding home prices are promoting a "wait and see" mentality. And we can not blame them - there is no rush to move to the bigger or better home (with the possible exception that mortgage interest rates will probably go up). But even with that, many people are just not ready to take any risks.
