Quick tips to spice up your kitchen & dining decor

It’s a fact, the kitchen is one of the most important places in your home and with that it’s also the most visited part of your home too.  When you put it in perspective, you need to go to kitchen a number of times in a day in order to prepare food, grab a drink or wash your hands… It’s routine in ones daily schedule.  Most kitchens in today’s newer home designs have more room for people to gather with island seating, nooks and open access to great rooms – all the more reason to celebrate your home with kitchen and dining decor that compliments the design.  And if you’re thinking about selling your home, it’s a beauty contest out there… Staging is a key sweeping buyers off their feet!

Start with a basic white dishes

Basic white dishes adds a crispness to a table setting, yet at the same time a sense of elegance and romance too.  Serving as the most versatile solution, your set of white can graciously carry you through any event, holiday or season.  Want to add a splash of color?  Consider using salad plates for some chic appeal.

Table runners & place mats set the backdrop

Another way you can set the mood for your theme or add a simple pop of color is by using table runners and place mats.  They come in all shapes and sizes to keep your dining decor diverse – and these wonderful accents that add flair and protection to your tabletops are so very easy to make too!  Don’t forget the final touch… Centerpieces adds a tons to a table!  Think beyond the vase full of flowers and great creative, this is the focal point and statement of your  island, dining room or breakfast nook table.  And here’s a great tip, always use un-scented candles at the dinning room table :)

Presentation is everything

Presentation is everything and to make clean up and storage simpler, busy moms and everyone for that matter should know about Bean Pots!  Not only to they add to your kitchen counter and tabletop decor, they’re microwave, dishwasher and oven Save too.  You can also cook an entire meal in a Bean Pot, so it’s a great assistant to saving you time and keeping the kitchen tidy.  Here you have it, decor that makes it easy to prepare side dishes or meals everyday!   Great for dinner parties in or on the go, because Bean Pots keep food warm for 2-3 hours and that my friends makes this tip even more tasty!

Don’t forget the walls

We say time again, painting a space or just an accent wall is a dramatic, inexpensive way to change the look of any room.  More than anything what your after is that “focal point” effect so consider some wall art that represents you.  Draw the eye to the around the room by pulling in colors from the decor on the table and counter tops.  This will compliment and complete your space.  Enjoy your new savory space!
