Be Your Best You!

Real Estate Agent with Online Real Estate Agent Training

As we prepared to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss...that's right, Dr. Seuss.  Known for his amazing children's  books like, The Cat in the Hat, Go Dog Go, Green Eggs and know, Dr. Seuss.  Although he was best known for his children's books, there is one book of his that I think most adults should read and personally, it is one of my favorite books..."Oh, the Places You'll Go!"

I often give this book to college graduates because I believe it helps, or should help to show them that they can control their own destiny through thoughts, words and actions.  As real estate agents I believe that we too can benefit from the message in this book because so many times we get caught up in our buyers, sellers and the transactions that we can't see the forest for the trees.  Transactions are like life.  There will be ups and downs and things will happen but you will make it through, just be the best you.

So as you celebrate the brilliance of Dr. Seuss keep his powerful words in mind:

"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.  You're on your own.  And you know what you know.  And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go".

"You'll get mixed up, of course, as you already know. You'll get mixed up with many strange birds as you go. So be sure when you step. Step with care and great tact and remember that Life's a Great Balancing Act."

Sometimes we just need a little reminder that every day we have a choice.  Choose to be the best YOU you can be!
