On a bright and sunny day like today, it's easy to forget the double whammy of back to back blizzards we had in Edmond just last month. During February, there were many days when business in Edmond seemed to stand still while many residents enjoyed extended snow days. You might be surprised to learn that real estate in our market continued to chug along despite the flurries.
Even with the snow, Edmond REALTORs placed 302 signs in yards. 302 homes entered the real estate market with an average list price of $105.82/square foot. Of those 35 sellers have accepted offers after an average 5 days on the market. Another 5 homeowners have already sold at an average 102% of list price!
Through the drifting snow, 123 homeowners made it to the closing table during February. Their properties had been on the market for an average of just 95 days and sold for 97% of their last list price.
During February 177 offers were accepted and 15 of those have already closed. By the way, one of the newly pending contracts had been listed for $1,299,900!
