Home Inspections Glenwood, Iowa: The Inspection Cat;-)

In 9 years of inspections, I've never had this happen.  A cat followed me around the vacant house for the inspection like my shadow.  I put my ladder up against the house, climbed onto the roof, only to turn around and have the cat join me.  The cat climbed up the ladder like nothing.  Then, I put my Extend-n-Climb ladder up into the attic and the cat climbed that also.  It explored the attic along side me.  I had to belly-crawl in 2 locations and duck-walk the rest just to get to the other end by the chimney.  I only wished I could move around so freely like the cat;-)  I ended up finding 32 gusset plates loose on about 26 total truss rafters.  So, I guess the grueling task of making it through the attic and back was worth it.
