(Almost) Wordless Wednesday | Children Of The Sandhills!

Densie, love the photo.  It's amazing how they captured the little girl's hair blowing in the wind.  They look like theyre having fun, as the visitors must do.

Those are wonderful sculptures and you did a great job photographing them too. And, yes, the weather here in NC has been absolutely spectacular these past few weeks!

I am curious about the marker at the center of the circle of children?  more?  I love all the photos you took and I can understand being "wordless" 

And I couldn't agree more about the wonderful weather we've also had... sure doesn't feel like the first of winter did.  We have buds and blooms

Denise, very nice sculptures of children playing in the park. A great place to spend a leisurely afternoon.

I love those sculptures. Children are so innocent. They do not (for the most part) have to worry about careers, bills and things. These scupltures send that message.

This figures remind me when my children were that age and played in the park. Time passes too quickly.

That made me smile....I remember when kids actually played like that. (sigh)

Nothing like a true depiction of what and how we should all strive for, no, not to be a statue, but the child like thought process and innocence.

I love sculptures like this. Just stunning! Thanks so much for sharing them. There is a horse on two legs here in Jack's Valley and you inspired me to go snap a picture of it!

There's a privately owned home here in Exton with several of these statues on the front lawn.  It's a fairly busy intersection of a country road, so I never get the time to really appreciate it.  There must be 5 or six of the staues, on swings, on see-saws.  They put different hats on them each season.  The other day I noticed they were all wearing green!   I wish it wasn't such a busy road because I would love to one day pull up in front and knock on the door to hear their story.

So amazing! One of the most beautiful statues I've ever seen and it's even better that it's so symbolic, too!

I just love the Circle of Peace.  I would definitely join the circle myself!  What an incredible piece of art and beauty.  I'm sure it fascinates onlookers of ALL ages!  Thanks for sharing with us!
