Lauren -- Great shots! I Like bridges as well. That is, I like looking at the architecture but I don't like going over them!
Hi Lauren - Great shots. I wish I could take some great pictures like that, but our bridges are not quite as spectacular. : )
Hi Lauren, Nicely done and it is always nice to enjoy your photography.
Lauren - I love all the interesting angles you took - very cool looking!
Beautiful shots, especially the one under the bridge capturing the endless columns.
Lauren,
I share your passion! My grandfather was a bridge maker. I've always been fascinated by them too! You did a great job photographing them! Excellent photography!
Barbara~funny you say that... I am the same way! I actually get butterflies when I go over bridges and get this feeling that I am going to be swept away with the wind off the bridge. My two hands go straight on the wheel.... Darn-est thing... I haven't shared that with too many people... :0
Thanks Chris...I got lucky when I saw these gazing outside the window en route to my hotel... My Sony Cybershot came in handy ;)
Thank you William~ that is very nice of you to say.... ;)
Kristine~ thanks as well... I am still loving the one you took in Sedona ;)
Sharon & Bruce, I really love columns in my pictures as well.... So, bridge and columns are a plus in my pix. ;)
Patricia~ that is quite amazing... about your grandfather... I saw a story on the longest bridge made by the gentleman that designed the Tokyo Tower. I don't know where I get it from, but absolutely love it. Thanks for the kind comments as well.... ;)
So Lauren, Do you really enjoy photographing bridges?
Nice shots, especially from a moving bus. You'll have to come see the new Pat Tillman-Mike O'Callaghan Memorial Bridge that spans the Colorado River near Hoover Dam -- lots of great perspectives to shoot from.
NOW, NOW. REALMAN~ Did you post that for the points...??? Yes, I do! Don't know why. I just do.
John~ I think I will... have to check it out!!! Thanks! the CyberShot is a good camera ;)
Hi Lauren... I love bridges too. In fact, I have a photo of the Golden Gate Bridge in my office!
Nice~ Steve, you won't believe me... I was base in SFO for two years and never took the time to escape and go take photos all day........... It's on my to do list in the next cpl of months... ;)
I don't blame you, Lauren. They are beautiful and amazing. I have a whole book on bridges!!!
Thanks Dee~Dee, I will Friday Foto the Sydney Harbor Bridge ;) this coming week.... if I have enough photos...
You got some great shots from the bus! Can you guess wht song is stuck in my head now?
Robert~ LOL~ Wheels on the bus go round and round...??? HA! j/k
