I wasn't a huge fan of this originally because it lacked a ton of basic features, but alas, Google has stepped up today, and added a handful to give you a little more power, without making it any harder. It still doesn't compare to a custom site, or a template site for that matter, but it's free, simple, and you can have 5, yes 5, sites!
