Football or not?

I just heard the deadline for the league lockout has been extended 24 hours. Does this mean there's progress being made? Will a lockout drive down ticket sales, or will fans think the two sides will be able to come to an agreement? I'm worried that the small market teams will be adversely affected if there's no salary cap. Look what happened with baseball. When was the last time a market like Pittsburgh was competitive? Those big market cities will dominate because they'll be able to buy the great players. Even if small market cities stumble upon good players, how long will they be able to keep them? Questions, questions, questions. Does anyone have the answers?

Margo - It would be interesting if they can figure out a way to resolve this issue in the next 24 hours.

Margo , there is always hope.

Save all the worry for when we really know either way.

I hope ( vote ) no strike , hope they listen to the people.

cheers

Nor

You're right, Nor. Not much we can do about it either way, and worry accomplishes nothing. I'd just hate to see a shortened season!

Hi Margo,  Hate to say this but sounds like a strike is coming.  If they get it result within 24 hours that would be great.  They are just to far apart right now,  Who will loose out, the fans.
