Jeana, Wow - abbreviations there are very different from ours here.  I would have never figured out MEIK!  Dining room and fireplace are about the only ones I would have been able to figure out.

Jeana, You will see things like GDO, CDS, HOA, ISD, BTSA (we all know this one, right?), A/C, sf, SD, LR, DR, BR, GR, SS Appliances.  Most of these are so basic (with maybe the exception of the first three) that I don't know if they should even be mentioned.  We really don't use too many abbreviations.

(Garage door opener, cul-de-sac, homeowner's association, independent school district, bonus to selling agent, air conditioning, sq. ft., subdivision, living room, dining room, bedroom, gameroom, stainless steel appliances.)

Hi Jeane-yes those are pretty bizzare-and the public has no idea just like all the professional designations

I love seeing what other agents do in their neck of the woods... In Phoenix we don't use alot of abbreviations... if we do, we use the obvious ones like FR (formal Dinning), FP (fire Place), SS (Stainless Steal).... etc

I would have never figured out MEIK....

Thanks for the information :)

I would not have figured mors of them out.  I guess it helps to keep it short if posting on Twitter.
