So now you have a Facebook business/fan page but when you post something on it you always showed up as whatever you named your page if you were an admin and most of us are.
Happily Facebook has now made a change and you can post on your business page not only as the name of that page but also as yourself.
Here's an example that explains it better. Portsmouth NH Real Estate is our business page. On my personal Facebook page I'm Realtor Jim Lee and my partner is Ann Cummings. Before the change anything either of us posted on out business page appeared there as "PortsmouthNHRealEstate". Now we can either still be PortsmouthNHRealEstate or we can easily switch to our personal profile and post a comment or link there as either Jim Lee or Ann Cummings.
This new feature lets you mix up your postings on your business page by either using the logo on that page or using your personal profile.
Here's how that looks on Facebook. This is me below as an admin on our Portsmouth NH Real Estate page
And this is me as myself on the same Facebook business page.
Easy to make the change so you too can now actually be yourself on your Facebook business page.
Step 1. Go to your business/fan page. If you have not already upgraded it go ahead and do it now. They're all going to be upgraded to the new format soon anyway. Next click the gray "Edit Page" button in the top right.
After clicking the Edit Page button you're taken to this screen below
Choose the "Your Sellings" link on the top left and your screen should then look like the one above. Simply UNCHECK the block that says: "Always comment and post on your page as "whatever your page title is", click the "Save Changes" button below that and you can now post "you" on your Facebook business page but also still post as the admin default on the same page.
