What is a "Mini Market" Report?  A look at just one small segment of our local market.

Today's report: 3 Bedroom/2 Bath homes    
                                                            
Two ordinary houses Today, March 4, 2011, there are officially  36 
3 Bedroom/2 Bath
homes on market.

They range in price from $89,000, for a modular in Prairie's Edge, to $1,000,000 to a beautiful cabin getaway in the foothills by Centennial.

The smallest is 1120 square feet while the largest is described as having 3000 square feet.  Keep in  mind that some of the largest include unfinished basements. 

The most common size for a
3 Bedroom/2 Bath home is between 1200 and 1500 square feet.  In general the older ones tend to be bigger with the ones being built in 2010 being on the smaller side - but more likely to have modern amenities.

The oldest, located in Rock River, was built in 1899.  While several in this category were built in 2010. 

As you might expect they range in quality from needing a little TLC to the deluxe

So if you are looking for a 3 bedroom/2 bath home you are in luck!  There is a broad variety to choose from this spring.

Brenda--You really can't put a price tag on your mountain view---or maybe you can.  Whenever there are mountains, the air always seems cleaner too.  Fewer auto emissions I guess.  Nice Mini Market Update!

Thanks Patty and Pat!  I guess 36 may not seem like that many compared to the bigger markets but it's quite a few for us - usually so many of the older 3 bedroom places only have 1 bathroom.

That's quite a price range. I think the least expensive home on the market in Jackson right now is around $400,000 or so. That's essentially land value, so you can guess at the quality/condition of the house...

My!  I'd heard Jackson had higher prices than any other place in Wyoming and I think it must be true!
