MSGod's HandsNBC had a poll on this question. They had the highest Number of responses that they have ever had for one of their polls, and the Percentage was the same as this:

86% to keep the words, IN God We Trust on our Currency and God in the Pledge of Allegiance
14% against

That is a pretty 'commanding' public response.

It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God.
Therefore, I have a very hard time understanding why there is such

A mess about having "In God We Trust" on our money and having

God in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Why is the world catering to this 14%?

I recieved this in an email and had no choice but to post it here.

Because in my opinion too many people sit back and do nothing while a small secular minority make sure that there voices are heard. Christians need to become more active. especially at the voting booths.

Hugh - I think you have hit the nail on the head - voting your convictions and beliefs is crutial if we are to keep God in this country. The news stations are always for the controversy -- it's just awesome that they get to see who the real majority is. Thankfully a lot of Christians responded to the poll.

Nick - Amen Brother!

Thanks Alex - trusting in any other person or thing is like chasing the wind - if you were to catch it your hands would still be empty.
