Rising Gas Prices

By
Real Estate Agent with Remax Marketing Specialists

I know we are all hit very hard when gas prices climb and climb and climb....and don't seem to stop!  Our local area prices are about $3.37 p/ gallon.  Even though this hits our wallets hard we must go on with our jobs, which include a lot of driving!

How have rising gas prices affected you?  Are you doing anything differently when it comes to taking our customers looking at homes?

I'm looking into buying a horse and carriage... I think that's the best solution at the moment ;)

In the past I have usually been a little relaxed about the prequalification discussion and tend to speak with the buyers about it when meeting them the first time at a home to view.  However, with gas prices on the way up, I will definitely be having the "are you prequalified" discussion prior to running out to show them the first home.  I want to be certain that they are committed to buying before I "commit" to spending gas money on them.
