Good morning Patricia, thank you for sharing such beautiful flowers.
Spring is around the corner.
Beautiful picture. Oh, and I love Tenleytown, too. I miss DC.
Roses are red, violets are...
Well, nevermind, that won't work. I'll try again next time.
Good Morning Patricia...Great photo of things to come...wish they would hurry!
Hope you have a great day!---Rob
Me too Pat. . I'm planning in rinding my bike trough the cherry blossoms and I will have plenty pictures this year.
Mmmm. Are they roses or camelias??? They look like camelias to me. Although most camelias are flatter. Then again most roses are rounder.
What are they??
Pat, Spring IS coming :) We've got daffodil and crocus sprouts getting ever further above the ground :)
We need blog smells to get the full effect of these. Gotta love Spring.
Those are camelias Lenn. See the bulbs? And I think the leaves on roses are generally not that large or shiny.
Pat, I completely agree....I can't wait for spring with the warm weather and beautiful blooms!
I love camellias and just got a bid for new landscaping and we are going to put a couple of those in with azaleas. Everything in my yard is dead and freezer burnt! The landscape guy asked me if I wanted to replace my dead palms and I said no I did not want to keep doing this over and over each year, we are switching to magnolia trees :)
How beautiful! I can't wait to get up there in a few weeks and see those cherry blossoms!!
Pat - Camellia's are blooming all over town down here! I just LOVE them!!!
Pat, we all agree, these are very pretty! Spring is just around the corner for sure!
These are camelias. They bloom pretty early here. In fact, I may have seen some down the street that were blooming today. I'll check them out in the morning.
Great post! very beautiful picture!
Thanks for sharing,
Adam
Patricia: Lovely Picture! Camellias are one of my favorite flowers as they were my Mother's favorite flower....We had two giant bushes of them on each side of the walkway of our Victorian home in Northern California where I was born. Here in So Cal they are very difficult to grown as they don't like the heat or the sun! I have one struggling in the shade!
Howdy and morning to you Patricia
Patricia, that there sure is a mighty fine looking photo of the Camelias bush. The weatherman here said tonight, that we have other big storm coming later today and that its go on into Monday.
Have a good one
Dale in New Hampshire
The first hint of Spring has a way of exciting us as we look forward to warm weather and flowers in bloom.
Most of us are ready for the flowers of spring. Have a great week!
