By Referral Only Real Estate Organization

Recently a fellow Real Estate Agent was asking about different Real Estate Coaching programs and systems. Looking for some real world feedback on our expereince in today's real estate market. As we finish our first year of utilizing the systems and stategies of By Referral Only and Joe Stumpf here below you'll see how I answered her... 

I invested one year and lots of money doing Craig Proctor's program at over $12,000/year for coaching + $3600 for their website + extra software, 1-800 serivce, etc. (and I felt icky doing business his way and attacted mostly investors looking to flip properties).  Ironically on my way to a Craig Proctor conference I sat next to a Realtor so I naturally asked "Are you going to the CP Seminar" - she said no she worked "By Referral Only" and began to tell me how that worked. It inspired me to research their system and even attend a Main Event later that year to check it out.  All I can say is that you need to trust your gut - if it feels authentic and you're comfortable it's probably a good fit - when I attended the Main Event I felt like it was made just for me - Joe's philosphy matched mine and he'd done the work to build systems to enhance our ability to deliver great service easily, consistently and cost effectively. You could've heard me saying "Amen" from the back row. I felt "authentic" and "comfortable" marketing my business this way and more importantly so do the people I come in contact with. 

People ask about what it costs - for me the shock was what it had cost me not doing it..I'll explain: Currently the first year of By Referral Only Coaching and access to all the tools and systems is $399/mo (obviously subject to change at any time) then it can be just $199/mo after that.

I love Joe Stumpf's By Referral Only philosophy and SYSTEMS and found he is closer to my style of building relationships and working with fewer 5 star quality people who you mutually know, like and trust. A monthly CD mailed to you with all the latest scripts and a successful professional (must make over $250K/year and been doing BRO for over 3 years) sharing what's working for them to the current market (No YESTERDAY's news here) - INCLUDED (Let's just say a coaching book on CD - $20 at a minimum);
8. Your own personal coach that meets with you every 2 weeks for a half hour - INCLUDED (this is big business locally for at least $100+/mo);
9. A Free Coaching line that's available whenever you need it - INCLUDED;
10. No Charge for follow-on Main Event seminars for you and a team member (If you only attend 1 at a Value of $795 x2 = $1590 or $132.50/mo) ;
11. A complete archived library of every past idea and campaign that BRO and it's members have used and created and he actually gives the members that created it credit - it's not all about him! - INCLUDED.
12. Turnkey Initial Consultation and scripts that are very effective;
13. Turnkey letters and WOW ideas to share with clients during the process (Lower admin costs); 
14. Specialty WOW ideas like with Daylight savings, new stamps, etc. - you can ask me. 
15. and more things but my hands are getting tired :-)

These were all things I was spending money on already without the benefit of support from a community to help me along the way - as you can see - I'm actually SAVING money. 

 They are constantly sharing ideas and delivering more value: -

• The buttons on my blog pages were not my original idea - it came from the By Referral Only Internet Marketing Guru - Dean Jackson;
• The video testimonials weren't my original idea - they came from By Referral Only's members sharing successful tips with each other and Joe passing them on;
• The reason I first started blogging is they coached us and let us know this was the next big thing we needed to be doing - and boy were they right;
• The reason I embraced video is because Dean Jackson explained that it's leveraged with Google (even more now that Google bought Youtube)

Now - all of these are just the tip of the iceberg because the thing no one can explain to you and I didn't believe until I experienced it myself is that it it an "environment"/"culture" where members share and help each other out just like Active Rain - I had never been in a Real Estate environment where there was NOT a strong undercurrent of competition. They operate from an abundance mentality and did I mention I've received 6 referral from other BRO members from around the country this past year.

I am actually in a local By Referral Only Mastermind group that meets monthly with other Realtors and Mortgage Professionals all from different companies and we help each other and each others businesses and even refer to each other. These are all things Joe encourages and even gave us the turnkey kit on how to start and run an effective Mastermind Group - How different is that?

Finally, there is a By Referral Only group on Active Rain - you'll find some great people there always willing to help. Some of my best friends are now By Referral Only members from across the country.   

I believe Joe's value proposition is OUTSTANDING - I left my first Main Event a year ago with the ability to make more than $795 back even if I hadn't decided to continue on with all is turnkey systems. I highly recommend it if you're looking for great systems and a great group of professionals.

I personally wanted to focus on selling real estate and love that Joe's constantly investing his own money to develop and provide me with the latest turnkey tools to do it better. Since I joined 1 year ago they added:

1. The 1-800# service in-house with 300 minutes/mo
