When was the last time you took your statements from your credit card company, Cable service, Cell phone or any provider and tallied how much you spent for the year?  When was the last time you called your providers and asked them if you can reduce your bill because you feel you’re paying too much money?  Let’s face it a company is not going to tell you that they are overcharging you. Why?  Well, because I don’t know about you but I have never heard of a system that any company has that analyzes to make sure that your not overcharged..Undercharged maybe.  Try it and you might be surprised what you come up with business owners also check your business credit cards, gas cards, Satellite, cable, phone service…The world now is to competitive what one provider won’t do another will and saving is the goal.  Try it and tell me your success stories.

Good post  just this past week my associates and I called our cell phone providers and were able to reduce our bills.  Sometimes all it takes is a phone call to reap savings for $20 or more.  Some of us even had land lines that we were not using which we cancelled.

Hey Michele,

Thanks for the post; I know I did the same minus cancelling my landline..LOL..I actually added a landline and reduced my cellular minutes because I realized that I was using my cell in the house or I was using it only when i was driving or out and about....it saved $65.oo per month because I was paying for a everthing plan at $134.00 per month for a business account.

I have also taken the advice and gotten a bill lowered for the cable, phone and Internet.  It is obviously a necessity, but no reason to be overpaying.

I was able to get it lowered by over $50.

Sometimes I think we get so busy with work and family that we forget about the small stuff and in the meantime we are spending more when we don't have to.

Thanks!
