I found several great articles that were published!  I wanted to share these with you and get your general opinion on them (either just one, or all).  So, here they are:

  1. Mortgage Applications Drop While Refinancing Increases
  2. Loan Modifications for Subprime Borrowers
  3. Fed Rate Cut has Opposite Effect

These 3 articles were well written in their own respects.  The Mortgage Application article is a great source of data with regard to what is currently going on in our world of mortgages - if people are out there applying for loans, or if they are "waiting" for the bottom to fall out.

The Loan modification article is very interesting and goes over the opinions of lenders that are switching the subprime borrowers from ARM's to Fixed without a refi.  This should tease out a few thoughts from you since this could effect our refi business!

The third article is something that I started giving out to my clients today that have been on the fence; the ones that didn't know whether to move forward or not, lock their loan or float it, or get an appraisal or not committ just yet.  Surprisingly, almost all of them decided to move forward after reading and re-reading the article.

Well, like I said, let me know what you think!  Thanks for stopping in!
