One Post Leads to Another...

I never thought I would blog.  My friend, Cindy Edwards from Johnson City, TN made me sign up for Active Rain on May 11, 2010.  After eight months and ten days, I finally wrote my first post.  That first post was written on January 21, 2011.

I have tried to post something daily.  Sometimes I get writer's block and have nothing to post about. Sometimes I think, "why would anybody want to read what's on my mind?"  I do like reading and learning from the Active Rain Community so maybe someone can learn from me.

This is post number 50 for me.  Now, I know that's not a BIG number like 100, 250, 500 or 1000. But, it is somewhat of a milestone for me.  My new friend Billi Evans from Springfield, MO just reached post 100 on March 4th, congrats to Billi!  Another new Active Rain friend Barbara Hensley from Heath, TX has just posted over 300.  My old and dear friend (that made me join AR) Cindy Edwards is getting really close to 300 posts.

I hope to continue posting on a daily basis. I hope to continue to meet new friends that I can learn from and they can learn from me.  I hope to see my business flourish through these posts and through networking with the AR community.

So...tonight I'm going to celebrate post number 50.  I hope each of you are celebrating your accomplishments in your own way.  Cheers!

:)  I am just starting to post more too.  Did you do more local posts or general posts?  Thanks for your encouragement.

Hi Kim, Congrats on 50, I am a newbie as a rainmaker and what I feel is the warmth of the community. Feels quite nice. Question why do you have your QR code on your posts? It was my understanding that the QR was good to put on hard copy, letters, signs etc to get people off line to land someplace you want them on line. For instance putting a QR code on a For Sale sign to get them to the on line propertry site or your web site etc. If you could send me an email bob_schmalz@wlaregroup.com, of the marketing advantages of putting QR codes on line it would be great thanks

Kim, this is indeed a milestone!  Congrats on the 50th post, but the real congratulations are for making the decision to do it and to try to post daily.  You will be amazed at how quickly the posts stack up.  The daily...one post at a time...is the way to go!  Good job!
