Spring CleaningIt must be spring because I caught the cleaning fever.  There were many other items calling to me for attention, but the cleaning bug caught me.  Not only did I clean the usual surface areas, which I have to admit I have been doing for a while now, I did some deep cleaning and actually cleaned ceiling fans and opened up some cabinets and cleaned them out!

Was it worth it, you bet, there is little better than walking through your home and seeing and smelling the results of a good thorough cleaning.  Now, my next chore is finding a maid

I really like the way the house looks and smells right now and would like that to continue, but I've got to get some computer work done!  Now, for those of you who know, what is the going hourly rate for a maid in your area?

Suzanne--Whatever the rate is, I would pay it.  As a real estate agent we can make a whole lot more than maid service.  Ask around your office or church.  Last spring I went back to work full time for several months and mentioned to my adult daughter that I needed to find someone to clean.  Immediately she told that her friend from high school was reopening her cleaning business.  Done.

Word of mouth is good way to hire someone who will be working in your home.  Good luck
