Kids get "Hooked on Fishing" in St. Pete Beach
St. Pete Beach, FL: The St. Pete Beach Recreation Division is hosting its annual "Hooked on Fishing" kids' fishing tournament on Saturday, March 12th from 8:00am to noon. The tournament is open to kids and teens of all ages and will be held at Merry Pier in historic Pass-a-Grille. Fun categories will include biggest fish, smallest fish, ugliest fish and more with great prizes such as tickets to local attractions, gift certificates to Ten Pin Lanes bowling, and prize packs provided by the Treasure Island Fun Center and Gulf to Bay Bait and Tackle. No pre-registration is required; all participants will check in at Merry Pier, 801 Pass-a-Grille Way, on the day of the event.
