I just read a blog where our Don MoneLeane was commentating about his bulbs coming out of the ground. I didn't believe him and I wrote that; since we are only one town apart, I would have to go check this out for myself, outside!
Well, he was right! Here it is! In my front yard! Spring is trying hard and it will come after all!
The temperature just dropped from 52 to 30 + wind chill factor but it is here. See for yourself! Now, if we could only grow more "House for Sale" yard signs!!! ; )
LOL - we got dumped on again on the weekend - another 7 inches! There's no bulbs or buds of any sort up this way.
You aren't all that far away from me, so I guess there is hope. We still have snow on the ground here, so a little bit longer.
Very true Lydie! It would be great to have "For Sale" signs popping out of yards all over the area. If only it were that simple, right? Of course I might go to the nursery to purchase the special seeds where not only do the For Sale signs show up in the yard, I want the ones with my name rider and a SOLD sign popping out of the neighbor's yards! LOL
