9 Comments on Speechless Sunday: Surprise a QR Code at Church
Wow! I guess they are everywhere:)) You probably were not the only one surprised:).Have a great Sunday, Marilyn.
They are popping up everywhere, perhaps God Blessed technology too!
Good evening Mariyln,
Now that is something! I'll bet you were not the only one surprised!.
Just curious where did the QR code take you...? I learned something the other day; I always poo pooed the QR codes thinking you would have to get out of your car to read them with your phone, but someone told me you can do it through your windshield...hmmmm...got me thinking.
Cindy--The QR code takes you to a survey to answer that ties in with a focus our church is doing called No Ordinary Family. Cindy no one here is using QR codes on sign riders but I thought I might start putting them on the fliers in the boxes, people are still going to stop and pull those out so they can scan the code.
Dorie, Most foks don't know about QR codes I was just surprised because I have read and heard so much about them in the real estate market. If my church is using the code in marketing makes sense that perhaps I sould follow suit....guess I should not have pooo pooed the technology idea for my neck of the woods!
A month ago my church paper also had an article on how to use QR codes. Just like you I was so surprise it truly was a "Speechless Suday" for me. Its good to know that they recognize the changes in technology. Have a great week.
Marilyn,
I'm not trying to sound holier than now, but it's uncanny how much of the world is in the church. Our's is taking social media to the max... g
That would be a surprise! But I find technology is appearing everywhere in our world. Not hard anymore to imagine the "mark of the beast".
