Yesterday Christine Donovan
shared how to add a border, which is
black by default. This made me wonder if there is a way to change the
color of the border and there IS.
All you have to do is add
your picture and border like Christine shows you then save
your post in "draft."
Reopen you post and switch
it to HTML instead of WYSIWYG.
You will then see "border:
black"
Remove the "black" and
replace it with what ever color you want. I haven't tested all
of the colors, but so far RED, BLUE, GREEN & PURPLE work.
Then save your post again
and your border should be the color of your choice.
Great information, I just learned something new today, thanks for sharing this!!!
Thanks for the great tip. You are a terrific teacher! Can you also show how to place an excel spreadsheet into the blog too? What happens if you want a fancy border how do you change it to any of those? Is there anyway to use WORD html info to include in Active Rain?
So easy Michelle! I knew how to add a black boarder but did not realize there was a way to add color to my pictures from the HTML! Very cool. Thank you for showing us how simple it is to do.
Hello Michelle and yes some great tips and thanks for sharing them with us ...
Vegas Bob ;o)
Michelle, I have seen this feature but can't say that I've ever used it. I will have to give it a try, thanks for the nudge.
What a very cool tip to learn! Thanks! I will be trying it now to test colors! More fun!
Thanks for the information! Can't wait to try it on my next blog. Pretty cool!
Thanks, I am always looking for helpful information to improve blog posts. Thank you for sharing.
Michelle, I had NO idea we could change the border color. Thanks for the great tip :) Let the fun begin, lol.
Michelle, Thanks for sharing this with us! There is so much that I need to learn how to do!
I do that occasionally, but it is time-consuming, so I usually just accept the default. It would be nice if the WYSIWYG editor gave us such control.
Michelle, thanks for your awesome tutorial on colored borders...I am going to bookmark this right now for future reference! :)
Here's a list of 147 CSS color names. All of these should work within ActiveRain.
Thank you for taking the time to FIND how to do this and then educating us all.
