WHATEVER YOU WANT ~ BACK TO THE STONE AGE ~
Now that can be a very dangerous comment a husband makes to his wife especially on their 35th wedding anniversary. That statement can mean just about anything or can be construed any way a wife wants, right ~
Now let's not take this out of context but I will admit this statement has been uttered numerous times in our marriage and conceivably in many marriages.
Take for example the husband and wife who are out looking for their first home. Now we have all encountered the first time homebuyers, but have we really thought about the comments that transpire between a couple. What happens between a couple can literally date back to the stone age and looking for a cave to live in. Who do you think got the last say in that situation? Not the husband....Grunt, Grunt...The wife shakes her head back and forth, not up and down, and the couple moves on to the next cave. Who do you think has the last say in the purchase of a home today?
Whatever you want clearly can mean many things in life and last night it was all about where do you want to go for dinner. Seriously, men are never the decision makers, it's always the wife, because men aim to please. At least my man does, so off we went to eat ALL THE CRAB LEGS I wanted because of the comment,
"WHATEVER YOU WANT"
