If you have never heard of Cobb Island..well you would not be alone.. this little Island is located approximately 45 miles south of Washington, DC...is tucked away near the end of route 257.. separated from the mainland by Neale Sound.
There are about 825 residents...this self contained community has a small post office, a volunteer fire department and two seafood restaurants, Captain John's Crab Houseand Shymansky's Restaurant and Marina. My personal favorite is Scuttlebutts.. a little bar and grill and last but not least, The Drift Away bar and grill. Homes for sale in Cobb Island, range from small ramblers to newer contemporary homes.. If you are looking for a waterfront home for sale in Charles County, Cobb Island is a great little get away.. there is a mixture of architecture... and fantastic views.
