Energy conservation in your Historic Home in Denver has always been a majoy concern. Yes, those classic old windows and doors are beautiful, but you know they leak heat like a sieve. Historic Denver, through Historic Denver's Preservation for Living is offering a workshop this Thursday, March 10th for Historic Home owners. The workshop will include a video of the process that homeowners go through to audit the energy efficiency of their home. Three architectural types will be addressed in the video, Bungalows, Victorians and Mid-Century Styles.
Homeowners will be shown where energy is most often lost, and cost effective steps that can be taken to cut your energy bill while still maintaining your home's historical integrity and character. The workshop is funded by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and Colorado's State Historical Fund.
