FMLS Data As of March 8, 2011,
The FMLS system has 306 homes listed for sale. We have an additional 39 homes under contract. FMLS is reporting 13 single family homes closed in February, 10 of the 13 were foreclosures.
The highest sales price was $250,000 at 34 Rock Tree Overlook and the lowest sales price was $20,100 at 181 Nottingham Lane.
We have 312 developed lots on the market with an additional 2 under contract. No lots sold in February.
There are 21 townhouses listed for sale. Two more are under contract. No townhouse sold in February.
The land farm section has 114 active listings. There were no land farm closings in March and none are listed as under contract at this time.
My Take On The Market
I am excited about this year. I think a lot of people are going to get some really good deals. I expect to be one of them. I have found a company that will let you own real estate in your IRA or 401K. You can buy and sell or you may own rental property in your retirement account. If you are interested I will be happy to give you the information about them and of course help you find real estate to invest in.
