Great comparison Laura! I had never really thought about it, but I kick up the mph over the last 5 minutes of my run as well. You're absolutely right, we need to gain momentum towards the end of each transaction to ensure all the pieces fall into place smoothly.
Yes, I can see the similarities between running and getting to the finish line on a transaction. We need to endure to make it to closing in order to get it sold!
Laura, too many agents don't realize that once you have a ratified contract, the REAL work begins. We truly have to stay on top of every little detail.
Laura. It is so true. We get so excited when we get a property under contract and then the work begins. Its like a juggling act to keep all the balls in the air.
Laura, so very true. It is such a great feeling when all details are clearly met and the property is under contact. We are in constant fast mode as Realtor wearing many hats in a days time.
Thanks everyone! The momentum does kick in upon ratification and all parties involved make each transaction different. It's so fantastic when everyone works TOGETHER and keeps the ball moving forward but for some reason not all move so easily even though you think this is when everyone would work harder.
Laura, I see a lot of parallels between running and what we do, this is a great one! There's no coasting to the finish line from contract to close, at least not if you want your clients to make it there :)
Hey Diane! Thanks for you comment and your right coasting is not part of closing!
